Driveway Opening at Epping West Public School

Driveway Opening at Epping West Public School

Today, I joined parents, staff, and students to officially open the new disability access driveway at Epping West Public School.

The driveway will allow parents to pick up and drop off students safely outside the dedicated special needs support unit classrooms.

I was able to secure a grant of $29,500 from the NSW Government toward the delivery of the project after P&C President Ben Yee brought the proposal to my attention and applied for a grant.

Epping West Public School is proud of its long history of special needs education and run a dedicated EWPS support unit within the school.

I am delighted to be able to support this project and to be here today to see how it is improving the lives of students.

No school in my electorate that applied for funding under this grants program has missed out. That is something I am very proud of.

When you see the finished project first-hand, it really hits home that with a little extra funding, you can actually make a real difference in people’s lives.

The grant was provided as part of the Community Building Partnership Program an initiative of the NSW Government.
